We love going out for meals at the SpLinter Group but we need to make sure we balance that with some healthy activities too!
So at the beginning of March a large group of us met the Queen Elizabeth II Park in Ashington for a lovely walk around the lake. It was nice to catch up with friends, some of whom we hadn’t seen for a while. Unfortunately we didn’t see much wildlife, but we did spot the train which sometimes goes around the lake in the summer!
Afterwards we all regrouped at the Woodhorn Grange Cookhouse for a relaxing lunch, which includes the most delicious sticky toffee pudding ever!
