Out and About Scheme
There is a new service being offered to individuals who are living in Southeast Northumberland called the Out and About Scheme. This service supports people who have mobility or health problems and find it challenging to access public transport. The Out and About Scheme is a project that supplies individuals with a vehicle, which enables them to access vital appointments without becoming reliant on family and friends.
This scheme also offers individuals to get access to places they want to visit without the discomfort or any issues surrounding public transport. It’s also a great way to meet new people and become familiar with staff from the WATBus team. Please find more information about this scheme below.
