Northumberland Recovery College is a charity organisation which offers a wide variety of support groups and courses to support adults across Northumberland with their mental health and wellbeing. Please find below a couple of the support groups and courses being offered online and in-person across Northumberland. Feel Good Foundations: is starting from Tuesday, 10th March the Northumberland Recovering College (NRC) will be running a 6-week online course called Feel Good Foundations. During this course individuals will explore the foundations of good mental and physical health from sleep to nutrition along with finding out mindful ways to manage their stress effectively. She Shares: is an all-female support group organised by Northumberland Recovering College (NRC) which takes place every Tuesday from 12pm until 1:30pm at Wallace Green in Berwick. These sessions provides members from this group the opportunities to share their experiences through open discussion and engaging activities. Masks off: is starting from Monday, March 16th at 1pm until 2:30 taking place The Bothy in Ashington organised by Northumberland Recovering College (NRC) this creative support group provides individuals an opportunity to explore their identity, confidence and self-acceptance through art, discussion and reflective activities. It also offers inviduals a chance to build their confidence, develop resilience and reconnect with your authentic self.
