Living Independently

Taking the first steps towards independence…

If you’re looking at living in your own place, but think you will need some support, you can contact your local authority to let them know you’re looking. In Northumberland that means ringing the main number and asking to speak to a housing options worker. Here’s the number at Northumberland County Council: 01670 536 400

There are lots of places where you can find more help to live independently. Over the coming weeks we will add more information about these services to our website so don’t forget to come back and check this page.
